Stellar Sunbeam

Roy demonstrates how one has to really lean into the corners to ensure the Sunbeam keeps true.

Some people can be difficult to sum up in a couple of words, but call Eric Patterson a motorcycle enthusiast, and you only risk understating the case.

He started riding old bikes before he’d reached his teenage years, and has (literally) wheeled and dealed in them ever since – a hobby that has led to running large and successful autojumbles and shows at Kempton Park several times each year.

Eric has also competed at the Bonneville Speed Week several times and is the current holder of numerous speed records on various machines, including his Vincent/Viscount and Norton/JAP (featured in The Classic MotorCycle in March 2010 and May 2009 respectively).
