Spotted at Stafford – 1967 Honda C72

1967 Honda C72

The C72 first arrived on the scene in 1960, though actual machines from the year of its inception are very rare. This example is a later model from the back end of the bike’s production run.  This particular machine underwent a complete restoration which was finished in 2008.

These were the first of the comparatively large capacity motorcycles that Honda produced, and they were exported all across the world. At the time of their initial release they were known for being quite technologically advanced, with an electric starter, indicators… the works!
