It was a “Rusty Wreck”

1921 Norton 500 cc 17C. Expertly restored by David Pattison.

Using his own considerable engineering talents, and the greatly appreciated help of some good friends, David brought this almost 100 year old gem back to life.

The 500 cc engine needed new bearings and piston rings, and the bike was missing its rear hub, amongst other things. Once it had been carefully pieced together, it was painted by a gentleman who lives locally to David. The restoration took a total of 18 months.
