Gentleman's ride out

by

Get your glad rags out!

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) will see natty riders, on all makes and models of motorcycle, don their finest attire and tour the town.

Aiming to raise awareness of a disease that currently affects 250,000 men in the UK, the charitable event will bring together the world’s motorbike community for a well-dressed day of fun, camaraderie – and fundraising for Prostate Cancer UK.

London's riders will take to the saddle and tour the capital city; dressed in tweed, suits, bow ties and sporting eccentric facial hair. There are only two rules to follow – dress like a gentleman and ride your bike politely with appropriate character!

Mark Bishop, director of fundraising at Prostate Cancer UK, said: “We’re really excited to be a part of the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, and incredibly grateful for the support. We are currently engaged in our high profile campaign, Men United v Prostate Cancer, which aims to build a united front of men fighting against the disease. By raising funds every distinguished fine gentleman is joining the team and helping more men survive prostate cancer and enjoy a better quality of life. We thank everyone involved in this fantastic event.”

Supported by Triumph, the company is offering a new Thruxton as a competition prize.
