1953 Vincent Rapide C (V-twin, 998 cc) and Steib sidecar
Sylvester McCoy’s incarnation of the doctor rode the bike (though some speculate that the actual bike used was a Black Shadow) whilst Bonnie Langford sat beside him in the sidecar. This ensemble was most notably used in “Delta and the Bannermen”, which aired in three parts over the course of November 1987. This particular episode also featured actor Hugh Lloyd and liverpudlian comedian Ken Dodd.
A classic British motorcycle and sidecar with a showbiz twist, this beautiful pairing is sure to generate a great deal of interest this weekend.
