Rickman off-roader

On display at Sammy Miller’s Museum, is this rare 125cc two-stroke.

It was manufactured in 1975 in New Milton at the Queensway Estate, only one mile from the museum, by the Rickman brothers Don and Derek.

This model used a Zundapp engine. With only 12 miles from new, Ken Bridges bought it brand new and kept it safe for 38 years.

Ken’s widow Mary sold the bike to the museum trust and it can be seen on display in the ground floor racing hall of the museum.
