Rare Matchless highlight of sale

On March 4, 2017, Dee Atkinson & Harrison’s sale at Sledmere House, Driffield, Yorkshire, is offering this Matchless Silver Hawk.

Matchless Silver Arrow has been restored back to its former glory.

It is thought to be one of only 60 surviving examples of about 500 made. The estimate is £45,000-55,000.

First registered on March 8, 1933 in Taunton, Somerset, to a Mr A C Thomason, the Silver Hawk later found its way to Kent, then Yorkshire. In 2009 Bonhams sold the unrestored Matchless for £28,000.
