Inspired by the Saints

I do not usually get to see The Classic MotorCycle, but a member of my congregation has donated me a copy of your April edition.

The reason being that although I am now a Methodist church minister, I was a Metropolitan traffic patrol officer from around 1963 to 1985, when I retired.

‘Ole Bill’, the 1911 AEC bus used as troop transport in France and Belgium during the First World War. John Lines escorted it to Kennington.

As such, I rode 6T Bathtub Thunderbirds and then all the TR6P Saints, starting with the black liveried ones.
