The hugely popular Stafford motorcycle show runs next weekend at the showground, an unmissable event in the classic biker's year. Expect hundreds of classic motorcycles on display, a massive autojumble, outside attractions and huge crowds. Advanced money saving tickets are still available...

The 20th running of the Carole Nash Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show takes place over the weekend of October 19-20 and tens of thousands of visitors are set to descend on the venue as organising team Classic Bike Shows celebrates two decades of one of its flagship events.

With the focus of the show on the 1960s, 70s and 80s, showgoers can expect to feast their eyes on thousands of bikes from these iconic decades in motorcycle development.

Show manager Nick Mowbray commented: “You will literally not be able to move at the event without coming across a memorable machine from days gone by.”

Local hospitality businesses can also expect to see a boost with visitors, staff and traders pouring into the area from across the UK and abroad.

Highlights of the weekend will include French former 250cc world champion Christian Sarron as guest of honour, as well as gravity-defying stuntman Steve Colley, the Classic Racer Grand Prix Paddock and a special auction of motorcycles and motorcycling memorabilia from the expert team at Bonhams.

Throw into the mix more than 70 club stands, dozens of private entries and hundreds of trade and autojumble stands and all the ingredients are in place for a superb weekend of motorcycling action.

The show takes place on Saturday, October 19 (9am – 6pm) and Sunday, October 20 (9am – 5pm), with advance one-day tickets costing £10 for adults, £3 for children and £9 for senior citizens.

Remember to vote for your CBC bike of the year. Closing date for the online vote is Sunday 13.
