The VJMC Central Lancs section will be running the VJMC North West Motorcycle Show on August 4, which is taking place in the exhibition hall in the Princess Royal stand and will be the first time the VJMC has held an event here...

Prizes for Tiddler, Lightweight, Middleweight and Unlimited motorcycles categories will be awarded along with the Tony Crossthwaite Longest Distance Ridden trophy and the Charles Connor Best Looking Bike trophy (voted on by the public) plus of course the Best in Show trophy/prize money.

The show is supported by various sponsors, primarily Blackline Sprinting and the VJMC along with support from Preston Travel Centre, Hazelwood Services and Chris Connor.

All bikes over 15 years old are welcomed and especially road ridden, clean and tidy bikes.

There will be trade stands on the area overlooking the track and the Equestrian Centre car park.

All areas are on hard standing and there is free parking for motorcycles and cars. Spectators can use the grand stands for watching and the race paddock will be open for people to wander round.

Entry is £6 for adults and £1 for under 16s including programme. As a VJMC exclusive, members can purchase advance tickets at £4.

Gates open at 9.30am with practice starting at 10am and racing at 1pm.
