Borders, bikes and beer

By Bertie Simmonds, 27 July 2013

Borders Classic Bike Show stalwart Jim Reynolds has had his very own ‘show beer’ brewed for him to celebrate 25 years of running the show...

The ‘Uncle Jim’ beer has been brewed specially by Hobson’s Brewery, based in the town of Cleobury Mortimer, Shropshire.

Uncle Jim is a special edition and will be on sale from now and up to the show, which takes place on September 14-15. This year’s special guest is Gerald Short, multiple championship grass track winner.

All of the monies raised will be given to the local community charities.

The beer can be obtained from www.hobsons-brewery.co.uk or by calling 01299 270837.
