Our guests of honour, Scottish racing father and son duo Bill and Ian Simpson are currently on the showground's stage being interviewed. Ian and Bill have been reflecting on the highs and lows of their long careers, and captivating the crowd with their candidness and revelations.

Both have TT wins securely under their belts plus a host of other accolades including five British Championships for Ian before the age of 28 and both have that dogged determination necessary to win competitively, and also, thankfully, a philosophical approach to their time on track.

Bill has brought along his his American Championship winning Suzuki GS1000 and parked it up on the Mortons stand, so do have a look at a piece of two-wheel history. Bill and Ian will be back on stage tomorrow, scheduled for 13.00 but please listen to the tannoy announcements for updates.

Elsewhere the supermoto competitors are preparing and fettling for tomorrow's race, with qualifying starting at 10.10 and the first knockout stages at 11.25. Do visit the supermoto track as the day holds a very full schedule and whatever time you stop by you will see some on-track action.

For those not sure of the attraction of supermotos, imagine motocross machines kitted out with super-powerful brakes, tuned engines, high tech suspension and sticky tyres. They're spectacular to watch and have incredible nimbleness, handling and traction qualities. Expect some aggressive manoeuvres and overtakes!
