Ride of Respect day

By Web editor, 4 May 2013

Thousands of motorcycle riders will honour the memory of fallen service people and raise money for The Royal British Legion on Sunday 16th June, in the fourth annual Ride of Respect...

Riders will pay their respects by heading along the repatriation route through Carterton in Oxfordshire, between 9am and midday, to thank residents for their care of our heroes and their families.

The ride will help raise vital funds for the Legion’s important work providing care and support to all members of the British Armed Forces, past and present, and their families.

For those who aren’t able to make the day itself, or if you are and want to accessorise yourself or your bike, you can still show your support for the ride and help the Legion through various Ride Of Respect products.

The range of products includes T-shirts, sweaters, bike and car stickers and flags, woven and pin badges and mugs. Prices start at just £2 and all proceeds go directly to the Legion.

The Ride Of Respect range, and other Legion products, can be bought directly from The Poppy Shop.

Further details on the ride and how to take part can be found at www.britishlegion.org.uk
