A stunning turnout of exhibits at Newark made the job of judging the award winners for today’s presentation all the harder. The bikes on display were a very high standard and a tribute to owners...
Our independent judging panel have pored over the exhibits and the winners are listed below. Well done to everyone who took part.
WINNERS LIST
Best In Show + Rosette (£100.00)
1972 Kawasaki H2A, owned by Ray Bourne
Ray's Kawa was originally discovered in a Colorado pond, after a crash!
It's taken over 700 hours to get the bike in the condition you see above. Nearly all the replacement parts used are original Kawasaki bits. The bike is still ridden and will now join the best in show from the recent Stafford Show, Dave Orritt's Kawasaki Z1. Both bikes will go into the eight-bike comp for Classic Bikers Club's Bike of the year 2013 vote later on in the year.
