The dates of next year’s VMCC Festival of 1000 Bikes and other international events have now been revealed. Mallory Park will play host to the classics event on the weekend of July 13-14, 2013...

All classes of road machines from the earliest veterans to machines of the superbike era will be displayed on the circuit on Saturday, while Sunday will be dedicated to racers with special track sessions running through the day.

Organisers have yet to divulge any details of next year’s star rider but in an official statement the VMCC said: “We have something planned that no race fan will want to miss. Announcement due early in the New Year.”

The current event line-up includes past masters machines, Pre 65 trials, historic grass track, historic sprint demo, classic motocross/scrambles, the Avenue of Clubs, trade stands and autojumble, fireworks and the real ale bar.

Live bands will be performing on the Classic Racer Magazine Stage starting on Friday, July 12, and the venue will also feature the Stars on Stage interviews.

The festival is supported by Mortons Motorcycle Media, Footman James Insurance Brokers, Bonhams Auctioneers, The National Motorcycle Museum, Michelin Tyre and ERIKS UK.

Entry forms will be distributed to all previous entrants in December. They are also available by contacting the VMCC direct or can be downloaded from the dedicated event website at www.vmcc.net/1000bikes
