Evergreen Sammy Miller is to be guest of honour at the 33rd Carole Nash Bristol Classic Motorcycle Show over the weekend of February 16-17...
Sammy will bring along two of the rarest and most exotic machines from his wonderful New Milton Museum collection, the Moto Guzzi V8 and BMW Rennsport, and they will be on display in the main hall.
Sammy will be on hand all weekend to talk about his museum, trials career, and oft forgotten highly successful Grand Prix road career. He will be interviewed on the stand twice daily and will hand out the trophies on Sunday afternoon.
The show, which boasts one of the best auto jumbles of the year and is always sold out, opens at 10am and closes at 5pm on both days. Tickets are £12 on the day, with seniors getting a concession, but there are discounts to be had for pre booking and you also get in the show quicker. More information from www.classicbikeshows.com
Footnote – The Sammy Miller Museum in New Milton, Hampshire is one of the finest in the world, but what sets it apart is the fact that the vast majority of the rare and interesting machines on display run, and get regular use.
The museum is open daily from 10am.
