Out and about at Netley Marsh

ZX-6R Kawasaki up for grabs for £350

The Classic Bikers Club team has been rubbing shoulders with the punters at the 19th Carole Nash Eurojumble, to seek out some of the bargains...

Perry Sketchley Motorcycles have been coming to Netley Marsh for seven years and by lunchtime had sold one bike, a Yamaha Dragstar 650, which went for £795. Also on offer on their stand was a damaged-restorable Kawasaki ZX-6R (image above) for a very tempting £350. The company specialises in secondhand spares and bikes, mainly Nineties Japanese, but they also have some European – you’ll notice a Beemer beside the Kawasaki. Look out for them in the main ticket stand by City of Leathers and the mobile fish and chip stand.

Another good spot was a silver Triumph Tiger Cub, which had many new engine and cycle parts. It had a Yamaha front end, which didn't look out of place. The bike looked clean and sold for £950 by lunchtime.

Harley-Davidson FLHRCI Road KingTo represent H-D we stumbled across Harley fanatic John (mob 07886 005540) and his FLHRCI Roadking Classic. Twenty-eight thousand miles on the clock, but pretty as a picture and just had £2750-worth of new tuned engined parts fitted, including 1550cc barrels and cams. Mint. The owner has just bought a replacement 2007 Harley in France and wanted to sell the FLHRCI to balance the books, although, once polished up, he wasn’t so sure! Give him a call if you fancy it. He wants £10,750.

More reports and images to follow as the Eurojumble unfolds.
