Our favourite images from the recently released Classic British Legends bookazine have just gone live online, and they include rare images of Barry Sheene, Geoff Duke and others...
Classic British Legends is a 132 page collection, the first of a series, which celebrates the nation’s two-wheeled dream machines, the men who rode them and the tracks that played host to their greatest triumphs.
It covers everything from Triumph Bonnevilles, Barry Sheene and Cadwell Park, through to the BSA Bantam, Vincent V-twins, Jeff Smith and Brooklands.
Illustration is provided by the Mortons Media Group archive and includes a large selection of rare period photographs.
The Classic MotorCycle editor James Robinson said: “This eclectic collection is a celebration of just a few of the people, motorcycles and places which have contributed hugely to the rich history of British motorcycling. It’s about heroes, achievements and engineering excellence.”
Classic British Legends costs £6.99 from WHSmith or it can be bought directly by calling 01507 529529 or visiting www.classicmagazines.co.uk
