In your May 2013 feature on the Norton International line, you incorrectly report that the alloy heads were not available for postwar Inters until 1953. Actually, the alloy head was indeed offered as an optional extra on the postwar Internationals. I currently own a 1950 International that has complete records from new. The motorcycle was ordered with alloy barrel and head and was despatched from Norton in that configuration according to the factory record.
