The classic season is now in what seems to be full swing, with Bristol kicking it all off as usual, then the Pioneer signalling the start of the ‘riding season’ of events.
The opportunity to go down and see the Pioneer and particularly the fabulous ‘show’ that builds up on Madeira Drive is always one that I relish – and although I’ve had the privilege to ride in the event a couple of times on machines kindly loaned by the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, I’ve vowed to not ride again until I have purchased my own Pioneer.
