The Wolds Run, 2014

With so many riders taking part, participants were dispatched in small groups for a 45 mile run through the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds, stopping at Scamblesby (the half-way point) for a short break and refreshments. Riders then headed back through the countryside, returning to the Aviation Museum where further entertainment was on offer.

After lunch, spectators were treated to a fantastic display of model aircraft of all shapes and sizes, from prop to jet engines. Then mid-afternoon, the museum’s Avro Lancaster fired its engines up for a taxi run around the airfield.

The organisers would like to thank everyone who attended and made it a day to remember.
