During the early 1960s there were two primary motorcycling youth movements – ‘mods’ and ‘rockers.’ As much an anything, they – and their supposed live fast, die young mentality and depraved lifestyles – were inventions of the Press, but there were, like every press invention, elements of truth in it all.
